When I get to pick my kiddo up from my school, inside I'm all this:
But since I want to impress my son's teachers and administrative staff with my "super cool laid back yet responsible, non-highly reactive yet disciplinarian, earthy crunchy mama but still shower with semi contradictory soap", on the outside when I arrive I'm all this:
Since my baby has become a super awesome toddler he likes to cry when I give him his favorite food and laugh when he's angry (it's like living with that guy from The Shining). He really puts on an act and when we arrive at school he's all this:

Which totally goes with projecting me as a mom who has her shiznizzy together; so even though his nonchalance makes me yearn for the days when he wouldn't think of getting up from his crib unless it was straight into my arms, it still makes me proud of the independent free thinking spirit he's becoming (that's called how to put a positive spin on "since you've become a toddler I'm not sure who spawned you"). Just to keep my in line and keep my ego from getting too big, when I pick him up he's all this:
Tomorrow is another day.
